Mr Mark Webb, CONSULTANT SPORTS HIP AND KNEE SURGEON.
Mr Mark Webb is a consultant sports hip and knee surgeon based in London and Surrey, who specialises in anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, arthroscopic meniscus surgery and joint preservation. He also specialises in sports injuries and femoroacetabular (hip) impingement.
He privately practises at King Edward VII Hospital, The London Orthopaedic Clinic, OneWelbeck and Ashtead Hospital. His NHS base is St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Mr Webb utilises his orthopaedic expertise to excel in hip and knee arthroscopy for sports injuries and joint preservation. He has a unique skillset, using the latest, minimally-invasive techniques only offered by a handful of surgeons in the UK. Mr Webb also offers tailored, non-operative orthobiologic treatment, which include PRP and stem cells, to address the symptoms of early arthritis, as well as tendon injuries. Mr Webb is one of the first surgeons in Europe to offer Arthrosamid injections which is a novel treatment aimed at treating knee osteoarthritis.
Mr Webb’s higher training includes international experience. He was awarded an International Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship in San Francisco in the USA and undertook two fellowships in Australia, where he worked alongside leading surgeons Mr John O’Donnell at Hip Arthroscopy Australia and Dr Michael Solomon at Prince of Wales and Mater Hospitals in Sydney. He completed a further fellowship at world-renowned St. George’s University Hospital in London.
Mr Webb’s clinical research has been published in various peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of esteemed medical organisations including the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA), the Orthopaedic Trauma Society (OTS) and the International Society of Hip Arthroscopy (ISHA) alongside the British Orthopaedic Sports Trauma and Arthroscopy Association (BOSTAA).

This is Mr Webb’s main location for his private practice and has weekly clinics. He is able to see patients and get state of the art imaging on site. Same day injections are usually available depending on capacity. Day surgery and inpatient procedures are performed across the road at King Edward VII Hospital.

OneWelbeck Surgical Centre is designed to offer first-class day surgery care. Mr Webb has regular operating lists for hip and knee arthroscopy (keyhole procedures).
